Training values with Enzo Pérez

The River Plate Foundation held a new edition of “Training for Life,” a program aimed at bringing River Plate players to schools and clubs to encourage boys and girls to follow their dreams and share their life stories.

The River Plate Foundation conducted a new edition of “Training for Life” with Enzo Pérez at the Club Social y Deportivo 25 de Mayo. This initiative seeks to share the importance of education and inspire effort and perseverance to achieve dreams.

More than 50 boys and girls training at the club experienced an afternoon of fun and the practice of values. Divided into groups, they trained in teamwork, trust, perseverance, and commitment alongside the kids from Casa River.

During the meeting, Enzo Pérez participated in an interview where he recalled his beginnings in football and commented, “It’s important not to stop believing in your dreams. The family and the values transmitted in the club are important, which is not only about playing football but also growing as a person.”

In turn, Clara D´Onofrio, president of the River Plate Foundation, stated, “It’s inspiring to listen to idols talk about all the effort and sacrifice it took to get where they are. It’s an example for the boys and girls, showing how values help us grow in life.”

Additionally, sports donations were made during the meeting to ensure the project continues to function. The Club Social y Deportivo 25 de Mayo received sports equipment such as balls, bibs, a set of nets for the goals, and various vests. There were also raffles that included caps and boot bags.

In this way, the River Foundation continues to promote values through its sports, educational, and social programs, teaching the youngest that if one trains, dreams can become a reality.
